Today's Washington Post "Home" section includes an article on "Tiny steps toward decluttering your house". One of the tips is to bring no-longer-needed cleaners from your under-the-kitchen-sink cabinet or bathroom vanities to our Household Hazardous Waste drop-off.
This drop-off is located at the Shady Grove Transfer Station and Processing Facility, and is open daily (but not on January 19, 2015!). It even has evening hours on weekdays! See Household Hazardous Waste drop-off details, including a list of accepted items.
