Due to snow, County-provided recycling and trash collections are cancelled today, Tuesday, February 17, 2015.
Starting Wednesday, our collections will slide two days later than normal for the rest of the week.

Monday, February 16, 2015 - Presidents Day - is a recycling and trash collection holiday. After the holiday, all County-provided recycling and trash collections will slide, and be one day later than normal.

If you (or your community) have a private contract for your trash collection, or if you live in a municipality, our schedule announcements may not apply to your trash service -- check with your hauler or community manager.

- Shady Grove Entrance for loads 500 pounds and more: 7:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Frederick Road Entrance for loads under 500 pounds: 7:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Recycling Center: closed
- Transfer Station and Recycling Center administrative offices: closed
- Transfer Station recycling and trash drop-offs: open with normal hours
