If your collection day is today, please set your material out as normal, but be patient as the delayed start, and conditions on the residential streets will make service slower and later than normal.

How do I dispose of or recycle a broken snowblower?
If you receive recycling service from Montgomery County, you may request a curbside scrap metal collection for snowblowers (and similar lawn and garden tools). If the snowblower is gas-powered, drain it of fluids, as for a lawnmower.
We also accept scrap metal from County residents and businesses directly at our Shady Grove Processing Facility and Transfer Station.

Monday, January 19, 2015 - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Day - is a recycling and trash collection holiday. After the holiday, all County-provided recycling and trash collections will slide, and be one day later than normal.
